Paolo De Martin – Beverage Mentor
Entrepreneur, brand ambassador and beverage mentor Paolo De Martin’s roots are in a small village near Cortina d’Ampezzo in the Italian Dolomites. As his grandfather Eduardo De Martin mixed the first SpriZZerò with his sister in his Bar Centrale in 1934, he laid the foundation for Paolo’s career – long before he was even a twinkle in his parents’ eyes.
As part of a family of restaurateurs in Laufen, Paolo learned to work hard and think strategically early.
After completing training in the hotel and restaurant business at the Instituto alberghiero ENAIP, Paolo studied fashion design at the Instituto Marangoni. In 2007 he took his experience from the hospitality industry and mixed it with his creative streak and a more than 70-year-old, top-secret family recipe, making the SpriZZerò his special project. He created an authentically strong brand – one that represents the Italian lifestyle. It became an incredibly trendy drink and was taken over by Mumm/Rotkäppchen in 2015.
Paolo is still SpriZZerò brand ambassador today. As a mentor, he shares his experience and supports founders of new beverage brands with his expertise and network. CapiZZi?
